Rosie’s Snowman Take Down at Dinner Plain

The snowman stood there in peace, unaware of what was coming.

His twig hands were thrown up in the air with joy – but not for long.

Hoping to make a new friend or just being her inquisitive self, Rosie crept from behind, reached right up to the snowman’s head and began licking and nibbling. The snow felt cold on her tongue and (obviously) the snowman didn’t react.

Rosie went on tipping its head with her little paws. “Maybe it needs a little push”, Rosie must have thought, and a push is what she gave.

The snowman gave in – its head rolled down its body onto the snow bed beneath.

Poor Frosty! Rosie’s short lived play date with the snowman was so gorgeous.

A little afterwards note – I entered this series of photos into the Victoria Professional Print Awards and Rosie scored a Silver with Distinction in the Portrait Category.  Oh that’s my Rosie girl!  So chuffed that other’s thought she was just the cutest little puppy!
