The ice crunched softly as she took her first tentative steps.
Rosie paused.
This was definitely something new, and unexpectedly cold.
Looking back for reassurance from her human, Rosie then did as many dogs do – she bent forward and tested to see whether this funny white stuff was edible!
This was the start to Rosie’s first visit to the snow of Dinner Plain in the Victoria Alps!
A gorgeous five month old Border Collie puppy, Rosie took to it with the bucket loads of energy and enthusiasm that is expected of a puppy!
Racing across the firm snow, sliding along the icy snow, jumping into the soft snow and otherwise frolicking were high on her list of to-do’s.
I can’t help but wish that the Australian snow season was a little longer! I could do this every weekend!
Think your puppy would LOVE a snow trip? We certainly do!
