Dog Photo Challenge ~ Winter
We’ve all felt it here in Melbourne (and Australia!) that Winter is truly with us!
It’s been cold, wet and even snowing in many places that normally experience snow.
So, we think it must be time for a winter inspired dog photo challenge this weekend.
This Week’s Theme: WINTER TIME!
Regardless of whether you love winter or not…. you still have to head out for walking or other activities with your dog. We find that taking our camera and grabbing some photos with the dogs, certainly helps make being out in the cold more fun. What’s more, the snow, fog, later sunrise, early sunset, rain and puddle that can be found in winter make for some great atmospheric or fun photos!
We can’t wait to check out your adorable dogs out and about experiencing winter.
Some ‘WINTER TIME’ Inspiration
This week our inspiration is all our own dogs (couldn’t be calling the cute dog models I photograph naughty, could I?). In these photos we have:
Top: Border Collie Summer had her first experience of the snow (and she loved it!)
Middle: Japanese Spitz Keiko out and about for his walkies on a foggy winter morning.
Dalmatian April racing through the snow; Siberian Husky Duke showing off his cool high five trick in the snow.
Bottom: Siberian Husky Bear looking magnificent atop a snow covered mountain!
Sharing your ‘WINTER TIME’ Photos
Meeting and hearing all about your dogs and the love you have for them makes our day! There’s lots of ways to share your photos for this weeks challenge:
- On Facebook – Post your photo under the theme post when it appears on Facebook.
- On Instagram – Tag your photos that fit the theme with #pt_winter so we can find them!
- In the Comments – Share your photo in the comments below. If you have photos on other photo sharing sites (like 500px or Flickr) then feel free to leave a link to your photo in the comments.
However you share, don’t forget to include your dogs name/s. If there is a great story, or puppy tale, that goes with your photo them we’d also love to hear it! Especially if you’re sending us something creative and we may not immediately ‘get’ how your photo fits the theme!
