Dog Photo Challenge ~ Silly Dog
Silly has a few meanings, but when it comes to our dogs, we think it is best used as:
“To be funny in a cute way”
And dogs have an uncanny way of being silly. Perhaps they know when we need the entertainment or distraction from everything else.
As I looked through photos from the past year, and came across quite a few silly outtakes – I realised it would be a great photo challenge theme!
This Week’s Theme: Silly Dog
Regardless of how adorable they are most of the time – there’s always that moment with a dog where the silly takes over!
Whether it’s a matter of timing, some props or accessories that have been included, a coincidence, a crazy expression or some other quirky happening, the silly photos of can be so smile-inducing or entertaining!
We can’t wait to see your photos this week! Don’t forget to also share the theme with or tag your dog loving friends who would love to join in!
Our ‘Silly Dog’ Inspiration
Check out the inspiration we’ve gathered for the challenge this week!
Top: I met and photographed this sweet rescue baby at Lort Smith – this expression as he played with his new toy has me in stitches!
Middle: I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Bella in Bright for our Fall Dog Sessions – and this leaf fell into the frame at the perfect time!
A young Summer modelling for me! I actually bought this wig for myself for a fancy dress party but thought on this day I’d see how Summer went with it! Still cracks me up to look at the photos.
One of those ‘great timing’ photos! Keiko and Summer did this themselves – it’s a border collie x Japanese spitz….. x dahschund 😉
Keiko and his ‘I love rolling in the grass’ crazy face. Summer and yet another wig – seems she’s quite the fashionista on occasion!
Bottom: Sweet Alfie – and his ‘will you rub my belly’ silly/adorable face!
