Dog Photo Challenge ~ Rainbow
Anyone else love, love, LOVE rainbows?
With all those pretty colours together, you can’t help by feel happy and joyous.
And because they are rare and of the myth of Irish Leprechauns burying a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, you also can’t help feeling a little lucky when one appears for you.
This Week’s Theme: RAINBOW!
“The pot of the gold at the end of the rainbow” – that certainly sums up how I feel about my dogs 😉 ~ so combining the two certainly makes for a wonderful challenge this week!
Did you know… it is impossible for an observer to see a rainbow formed from water droplets at any angle other than the customary one of 42 degrees from the direction opposite the light source? This is one of the reasons that we don’t always see rainbows when the sun shines when it’s raining. And this just adds to the spark and thrill when we see them. For this challenge, you’re welcome to share photos of your dog with the meterorological phenomenon that is a rainbow.
However, as the arrival of a rainbow is not predictable, you’re welcome to share any ‘rainbow’ themed or inspired photos – that includes creatively applying the idea. I’ve included some different rainbow examples below in the inspiration – props, toys, backgrounds and found scenes can all be rainbow coloured.
The Rainbow Bridge. No dog ever lives long enough – anyone whose ever loved a dog knows this. When our beloved canine family members leave us, it’s often said that they head over the Rainbow Bridge. It’s a consoling to imagine them heading over the rainbow bridge to arrive at doggie heaven full of their favourite things. This week you may like to share your ‘rainbow’ tribute to your gorgeous gone but not forgotten dog.
Some ‘RAINBOW’ Inspiration
