Dog Photo Challenge ~ Happy New Year!
A huge, joyous, wonderful and happy New Year from us to you & your pack!
Our first challenge for the year, is perhaps a little belated – we’ve been enjoying some wonderful family time since Christmas.
But, really of 365 days this year only 9 have passed, so still fitting to be celebrating and sharing our Happy New Years with one another!
This Week’s Photo Challenge Theme: HAPPY NEW YEAR
Our ‘Happy New Year’ theme can be used to inspire your photos however literally or liberally as you’d like. It could, like it did for us, be photos of including our dogs in the New Years celebrations.
It could be a resolution or goal for 2017 that you’ve set for your dog, or that they’ve inspired for yourself.
Perhaps it will be how 2017 will be a happy, blessed year for you (we’re sure that will involve your dog in some way!).
We can’t wait to see your photos in our first challenge of the year!
Some ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR’ Inspiration
In our Happy New Year inspiration photos we have:
Top: Summer, our gorgeous border collie girl, posing perfectly to wish everyone a happy new year!
Middle: Keiko giving a cheesy toothy grin in his ‘New Year’ crown – we just love this cheeky little smile when he flashes it at us!
On New Year’s Eve, Summer and Keiko got to try Doggie beer for the the first time – I think from their reaction and how quickly it went down they could easily develop a thirst for beer 😉 This was Summer’s reaction
Bottom: Keiko post dog beer…. just joking! He poses very quickly for photos and this is seconds after the first was taken! It does a good job of showing post ‘welcoming in the New Year’ celebrations!
Sharing your Photos
Meeting and hearing all about your dogs and the love you have for them makes our day! There’s lots of ways to share your photos for this weeks challenge:
- On Facebook – Post your photo under the theme post when it appears on Facebook.
- On Instagram – Tag your photos that fit the theme with #pt_newyear so we can find them!
- In the Comments – Share your photo in the comments below. If you have photos on other photo sharing sites (like 500px or Flickr) then feel free to leave a link to your photo in the comments.
However you share, don’t forget to include your dogs name/s. If there is a great story, or puppy tale, that goes with your photo them we’d also love to hear it! Especially if you’re sending us something creative and we may not immediately ‘get’ how your photo fits the theme!
