Dog Photo Challenge ~ Howl-o-ween
It’s Halloween! Or as we like to call it…… ‘Howl-o-Ween’.
Halloween costumes, even the scary ones, are such fun.
And on dogs they are extra adorable, if you ask us!
This time of year, we LOVE seeing all the fabulous photos of dogs dressed for Howl-o-Ween. So, of course, this makes the perfect photo challenge for this week!
This Week’s Photo Challenge Theme: Howl-o-Ween
This week we challenge you to capture and share your dog and how they participate in Howl-o-Ween. It might be the awesome costume they wear, posed amongst your home halloween decorations, taking them trick or treating, or all of these things!
This week, especially, you’re welcome to apply the theme creatively. Maybe adding a creepy overlay or words to your photos.
We can’t wait to check out all your Howl-o-Ween photos this week!
Some ‘Howl-o-Ween’ Inspiration
In these ‘Halloween’ inspired photos we have:
Top: Newfoundland puppy Morpheus steps in the darkside by pretending he’s a kitty cat!
Middle: Our Keiko, the Japanese Spitz x Devil!
Hungarian Vizsla has also decided on playing cat for this Howl-o-Ween.
Our border collie Summer does Roller Girl (ok, we got a bit stuck for something for her this year, let’s hope for Halloween next year we’re a little more organised). Chocolate Labrador puppy Archie dons a costume that reflects his sweetness! He’s a puppy angel.
Bottom: French bulldog Brax does Superdog! We just love how he’s adopted a pose to match this alter ego!
Sharing your Photos
Meeting and hearing all about your dogs and the love you have for them makes our day! There’s lots of ways to share your photos for this weeks challenge:
- On Facebook – Post your photo under the theme post when it appears on Facebook.
- On Instagram – Tag your photos that fit the theme with #pt_halloween or #pt_howloween (either is fine!) so we can find them!
- In the Comments – Share your photo in the comments below. If you have photos on other photo sharing sites (like 500px or Flickr) then feel free to leave a link to your photo in the comments.
However you share, don’t forget to include your dogs name/s. If there is a great story, or puppy tale, that goes with your photo them we’d also love to hear it! Especially if you’re sending us something creative and we may not immediately ‘get’ how your photo fits the theme!
