Dog Photo Challenge ~ Autumn
I don’t think it’s any secret that I love photographing my own dogs (and other peoples) in the gorgeous colours of Autumn!
And last week, I’ve noticed that finally the leaves are changing colour and starting to fall! This means is truly Autumn and the fun of photographing dogs in Autumn has finally arrived here in Melbourne!
That makes it the perfect time for an Autumn themed challenged, if you ask me!
This Week’s Theme: AUTUMN!
Do you have a dog that will dive into a pile of fallen leaves? Perhaps they will pose beautifully in front of gorgeous autumn coloured trees. Maybe they will race, roll or play amongst the covered in leaves. It’s time to get outside and play with your best buddy and your camera!
If it’s not currently Autumn where you’re located then you’re welcome to dig up a photo from a previous Autumn for you! If you live in a place that doesn’t have the four seasons (like in the tropics) then you’re absolutely welcome to apply the theme creatively! Find somewhere local with orange, or some other autumn colour! Maybe you can find some fabrics leaves to incorporate in your photos!
We can’t wait to see your gorgeous Autumn Dogs!
Some ‘AUTUMN’ Inspiration
Some adorable Autumn inspiration for you! In these photos we have:
Top: Border Collie Tasha, Labradoodle Alfie & Australian Cattle Dog Commander Spock
Middle: Pug Rufio
Japanese Spitz Keiko & Border Collie Rosie
Bottom: Tamaskan Rooke (apparently he’s one of only three Tamaskan’s in Australia!)
Sharing your ‘AUTUMN’ Photos
Meeting and hearing all about your dogs and the love you have for them makes our day! There’s lots of ways to share your photos for this weeks challenge:
On Facebook – Post your photo under the theme post when it appears on Facebook.
On Instagram – Tag your photos that fit the theme with #pt_autumn so we can find them!
In the Comments – Share your photo in the comments below. If you have photos on other photo sharing sites (like 500px or Flickr) then feel free to leave a link to your photo in the comments.
However you share, don’t forget to include your dogs name/s. If there is a great story, or puppy tale, that goes with your photo them we’d also love to hear it! Especially if you’re sending us something creative and we may not immediately ‘get’ how your photo fits the theme!
