Puppy Tales Photo Challenge - Naughty

Anyone else find their dog or puppy’s naughtiness one of the most adorable things?

I know, we need to train them properly, set boundaries and be responsible pet parents, but I am the worst for giggling when they do something adorably naughty (my hubby is always giving me ‘that’ look for running to grab the camera to capture it instead of stopping the naughtiness!

(If you’re not familiar with the Dog Photo Challenges, there’s some extra info at the bottom of the post).

This Week’s Theme: NAUGHTY DOG!

Let’s see ’em….. your dog’s naughty photos!  Those little moments you’ve managed to capture where your dog or puppy is not doing exactly what they should be!

You’re welcome to apply the theme creatively. Don’t forget to include a comment if it might not so obvious as to how your photo fits the theme.

We can’t wait to check out & giggle at all your ‘Naughty’ doggie photos.

Some ‘NAUGHTY DOG’ Inspiration

This week our inspiration is all our own dogs (couldn’t be calling the cute dog models I photograph naughty, could I?).  In these photos we have:

Top: Border Collie Puppy Rosie….. she was supposed to be posing for a photo, but ended up on her back giving us this naughtiness.

Middle: Little Miss Summer (also a border collie) loves to chew!  She has so many chews toys but as a puppy would chew whatever is closest, including the sheets!

Keiko, our Japanese Spitz, was not so helpful on this occasion as we towelled off after get wet in the rain. Summer, in all innocence (really!) wasn’t caught digging in the garden….. despite the dirt evidence all around her nose 😉

Bottom: Keiko destroying one of his toys.  He loves to pull apart the seem and then destuff whatever the toy.

Sharing your ‘NAUGHTY DOG’ Photos

Meeting and hearing all about your dogs and the love you have for them makes our day! There’s lots of ways to share your photos for this weeks challenge:

  • On Facebook – Post your photo under the theme post when it appears on Facebook.
  • On Instagram – Tag your photos that fit the theme with #pt_naughty so we can find them!
  • In the Comments – Share your photo in the comments below. If you have photos on other photo sharing sites (like 500px or Flickr) then feel free to leave a link to your photo in the comments.

However you share, don’t forget to include your dogs name/s. If there is a great story, or puppy tale, that goes with your photo them we’d also love to hear it! Especially if you’re sending us something creative and we may not immediately ‘get’ how your photo fits the theme!

What are the Dog Photo Challenges?

We know you guys, our Puppy Tales friends, love to share photos of your gorgeous dogs! Our social media is filled with them daily and we receive lots via message and email too. We LOVE to see them! And we want to share our favourites….. each week the best will be shared on our Puppy Tales Facebook Timeline Cover! It needs to be updated frequently and we couldn’t think of anything better than sharing your cute Dog or Puppy Tales!

So we developed the simple idea of a weekly challenge allowing you to share your best dog photos! And the best bit is that it gives you an extra reason to hang out with your dogs over the weekend and to be taking more photos of them. If you already have photos that match the theme, then you’re welcome to share those too. There will be many themes throughout the year, so the opportunity to share your dog photos often will be sure to come up frequently! Don’t forget to come back to check for the new themes each week!

Each Friday we will post a photo challenge theme for the week. You can upload over the weekend and the following Tuesday we will pick our favourites to update the Puppy Tales Facebook page with! We will also share some of the photos on Puppy Tales instagram!
